Jackalope Playwrights Lab Summer Session

The Jackalope Playwrights Lab is an eight-week master-class in playwriting facilitated by Jackalope Company Member Calamity West. Calamity is a Chicago-based, award-winning playwright. Her plays have appeared at The Roundabout, The Goodman, Jackalope Theatre Company, Sideshow Theatre Company, Steep Theatre Company, and TimeLine Theatre Company. City Lit seeking submissions for Art of Adaptation Festival

City Lit Theater will present THE ART OF ADAPTATION on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 31, June 1 and June 2, and is currently soliciting for pieces for the festival. Submitting playwrights may be located anywhere, but a connection to Chicago is strongly encouraged. City Lit staff will select six to eight adaptations, each of which will be awarded $200.00.
