June 4 – 5: Theatre E-Waste Drive at TimeLine Theatre Company (5035 N. Broadway Chicago, IL 60640)
The League of Chicago Theatres and Chicago Green Theatre Alliance invite you to bring your E-Waste to swap or donate! Join us in reducing waste and giving materials a second life through a series of theatre industry drives designed to repurpose, recycle, and swap tools, electronics, and textiles.
For large items, please email chigreentheatre@gmail.com, to check if accepted and schedule a drop off. To drop off items, please enter the parking lot on Broadway and drive towards the East to the loading dock in the back of the building. The team will be there to help you unload.
Accepted Items:
- if it plugs in or charges, it’s e-waste
- old computers
- cables
- lighting and sound equipment
Not Accepted:
- Batteries
- TVs (except small flat screens)
- Glass
- Styrofoam
- Bulky Monitors
- Large Appliances
- Hazardous Materials
