Jackalope Playwrights Lab – Winter Session

This eight-week writing intensive is designed for a class of 8 writers interested in developing new, full-length plays through a workshop development process,
and meets virtually on Saturdays 10:00am-2:00pm on Zoom.

COST: $200

UPCOMING SESSIONS: WINTER 2021 SESSION will run from January 9th through February 27th, 2021.

DEADLINE: Applications are due by 11:59 pm on December 28th, 2020.

TEACHING ARTIST BIO:
Calamity West is a Chicago-based, award-winning playwright. Her plays have appeared at Williamstown Theatre Festival, Roundabout, The Goodman, Jackalope Theatre, Steep Theatre, TimeLine, and Sideshow Theatre. In 2014 Calamity was recipient of the 3Arts Award. She teaches playwriting at the University of Chicago and Webster University. Calamity holds a BA in dramatic writing from Webster University and an MFA in creative writing from California College of the Arts. She is a company member of Jackalope Theatre Company.
