5th Annual Chicago Theater Bike Ride

Please join us this September 7th at 10:30AM at Foster Beach for the 5th annual celebration of our community. We will begin with the opening ceremony at the Memorial TeePee, then ride our bikes on the amazing Chicago lakefront followed by a lovely Community Pot Luck & BBQ. Open House Chicago is partnering with the Year of Chicago Theatre to highlight the unique spaces throughout Chicago where live performances happen! Open House Chicago is a free annual festival organized by the Chicago Architecture Center that opens sites of architectural, historical, or cultural interest for public exploration. This year’s event on October 19-20 is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors to 250+ sites in 30+ neighborhoods. All of our hearts go out to the Leonard and Libera family as they mourn the loss of their daughter Eleanor Finn Leonard. Nora was an inspiration to so many for her courage and kindness. As The Second City family celebrates her life tomorrow morning at a memorial service please join us in sending them love and healing during this time.
