The Jeff Awards meeting on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Greenhouse Theatre will include a panel discussion on Latinx Theatre. Latinx Theater groups have been forming across the country in the past 10 years. These groups are dedicated to education, advocacy and community amongst Latinx performers. 2019 CityArts Program Grant Applications are now open

The 2019 CityArts Program grant applications are now open for arts organizations of all sizes! The goal of DCASE’s CityArts Program is to encourage the attainment of artistic excellence and financial stability, and to incentivize innovation related to citywide priorities.
In 2019, nonprofit arts and culture organizations of all sizes will be able to apply for general operating grants and project grants. Project grants will be in alignment with the Year of Chicago Theatre.

The Saints Announce 2019 Grant Programs

The Saints invite and encourage theater, dance, and music organizations to apply for grant assistance to be used for artistic development or production-related purposes. Saints Grant applicants can request funding for but are not limited to: costumes, the commissioning or licensing of works, improvements to applicant-owned premises, community engagement and enrichment projects, or computer and technical items such as sound or lighting needs.
