About our Career Fair:
Launched in 2023, the League of Chicago Theatres Career Fair has quickly become a significant annual event for emerging theatre professionals in the Chicagoland area. Hosted each year by a college or university partner, the Career Fair has welcomed hundreds of students, recent graduates, and job-seekers eager to connect with hiring theatres and arts organizations.
This event is a professional development hub that offers free headshots, resume reviews, panel conversations with Chicago theatre leaders, and so much more. In 2025, we expanded to include portfolio reviews for designers, stage managers, and technicians, as well as mock auditions for performers seeking feedback.
With the support of university partners and local sponsors, the League’s Career Fair continues to grow as a launchpad for meaningful careers in theatre, making space for career professionals to gain visibility, build confidence, and find opportunity.
