The Jackalope Playwrights Lab

The Jackalope Playwrights Lab is an eight-week master-class in playwriting facilitated by Jackalope Company Member Calamity West. Calamity is a Chicago-based, award-winning, Kilroys-cited playwright. In 2018 Calamity had two world-premieres including IN THE CANYON at Jackalope Theatre Company and HINTER at Steep Theatre Company. The DirectorsLabChicago (DLC) Steering Committee and Artistic Director Wm. Bullion are pleased to announce their 2019 DirectorsLab to be held Sunday–Saturday, August 18–24, 2019, at Victory Gardens Theater as well as in other prominent Chicago theater venues throughout the week-long collaborative symposium for stage directors.
