This segment of our CES is designed to gather Artistic Directors from across Chicago to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced within their immediate communities. This segment will also include an opportunity to network amongst Artistic Directors.

Latine Heritage Month Panel

In honor of Latine Heritage Month, The League of Chicago Theatres is convening a panel of Chicago Latine theatre artists to highlight their current work and ongoing initiatives. This panel will be moderated by Tony Bondoc, Director of Programming and will feature the following panelists:

League of Chicago Theatres 45th Anniversary Gala

The League of Chicago Theatres is excited to host its annual gala in celebration of it’s 45th anniversary.  Join us as we present our Lifetime Achievement and Artist Excellence Awards, as well as the 2024 Broadway In Chicago: Emerging Theatre and Backstage Champion Awards.

Community Empowerment Series: 2025 Advocacy Planning

This segment of our CES is designed to gather our members to discuss the short and long term goals of their organizations and the Chicago Theatre Community. This discussion will be followed by an in depth review of the 2024 Annual Membership Survey results and an opportunity to contribute to the League’s advocacy plan for 2025.

The League’s Annual Meeting and 2024 Chicago Theatre Week Kick-off will be open to all member organizations and the public. The event will include a pre-program reception, preview performances of select Chicago Theatre Week shows, and opportunities to purchase tickets for Chicago Theatre Week 2024.

Community Empowerment Series: Budgets & Resource Sharing

This segment of our CES is designed to gather our member organizations and discuss the current climate around finances and resources within organizations of similar operating capacities. This segment will be followed by an opportunity for member theatres to get connected with resources tailored to different operating budgets.

It’s our Birthday! The League of Chicago Theatres and Chicago Green Theatre Alliance invite you to bring your drills, sewing needles, cables, and flashlights to our first ever Theater Tool Drive! Swap or donate your theater tools and meet other industry professionals. We will be collecting items from EVERY sector of Theatre. If you don’t see something listed here please reach out to us at chigreentheatre@gmail.com to ask if we will be collecting it.

The League of Chicago Theatre’s invites you to it’s 2nd Annual Theatre Industry Career Fair on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Columbia College Chicago. We encourage you to join us to learn more about the many different career opportunities that exist within the performing arts industry in Chicago. This event is FREE for participants and food and snacks will be served throughout the day.
