This workshop is facilitated by Black Lives Black Words International Project, Co-Founder and Managing Curating Producer- Reginald Edmund. The workshop will explore equity, diversity and inclusion through the new play development, and our perceptions of activism in the arts industry. This workshop will be centered on igniting a conversation to challenge developmental processes, participants will collectively design an innovative approach to new play development through the lens of artistic activism using a set of new ideas and rules to heighten the level of consciousness in new play development in America and across the globe. This workshop is open to individual artists, as well as small and large organizations.
