American Homestay Network (AHN) is affiliated with the Australian Homestay Network – the world’s most experienced international student homestay network company. Since 2008, our Group has successfully placed over 50,000 students in homestay environments. AHN incorporates decades of international experience in homestay operations management to help ensure that every homestay experience is successful. American Homestay Network is now introducing the Volunteer Immersion Program (VIP) in Chicago. Participants spend 30 days in the United States volunteering at a not-for-profit organization for approximately 15-20 hour per week while living with a host family. Participants learn about American culture while experiencing the spirit of volunteerism. Participants are university students and have a conversational level of English speaking skills.
