The Chicago Green Theatre Alliance’s Spring Meeting is coming up on Tuesday, March 1st from 5:30pm – 6:30pm on Zoom. We’ll kick off the meeting with a brief update about the CGTA, green news, past events, and current projects. We will then be joined by Howard Learner, Executive Director at the Environmental Law and Policy Center, for a discussion about The Climate and Equitable Jobs Act passed in Illinois and other legislative changes in Springfield. We can ask our questions and brainstorm around topics such as renewable energy legislation, energy efficiency audits and retrofits, solar paneling and community solar projects, tax breaks for electric vehicles and charging stations, and other energy saving opportunities for theatres and theatre professionals.
