Christkindlmarket Performance Submissions 2022

Thank you for your interest in performing at the Christkindlmarket Chicago 2022! This event will take place on Tuesday, December 6 and will showcase theatres and companies throughout Chicago while promoting their holiday shows.

Important Information to Know

  • The market is an outdoor market that is open during all weather conditions. Please make sure all group members dress appropriately.
  • The stage size is 10’x 15′
  • In the event of severe weather we do not expect you to perform, but we request that you inform us in advance if you have to cancel the performance.
  • There are heated restrooms across the street from the market in the basement of Block 37. This would be the ideal location to change into any costume as the Christkindlmarket Chicago only has outdoor portable restrooms available.
  • Please meet no later than 15 minutes before the actual performance time at the Timber House information counter.

In order to be considered for participation, please submit the following information. Applications are due Thursday, November 10.

Please note: As this is a public show, your performance must be holiday themed, secular, and family friendly.

Available: (2) handheld wireless microphones, (1) wired microphone with stand, CD player All other equipment must be provided by the performing company and must be approved by Christkindlmarket staff. There are roughly 10 channels in which extra microphones (provided by the performing company) can be plugged into the PA system. Performing companies will have access to input into the mixer with XLR, TRS, or RCA inputs.
