The League of Chicago Theatres calls on our diverse arts community and supporters to stand together in response to devastating NEA funding cuts that threaten the future of theatre in our state and beyond. These sudden terminations not only impact previously approved federally supported projects, but also put jobs, programming and community access to the arts at risk. We urge you to take action: contact your elected officials, continue to support local theatres and artists, and join us in advocacy efforts. Artistry is not a luxury — it is essential.
