Experience one of Chicago’s Lost Theatres

You are invited to experience Romanticism to Ruin: Two Lost Works of Sullivan and Wright, currently on view at Wrightwood 659, a stunning space designed by Pritzker prize-winning architect Tadao Ando. Our friends at Wrightwood 659 will be hosting us for an exclusive tour of this sold-out exhibit.

The second and third floors of the museum are dedicated to Reconstructing the Garrick: Adler and Sullivan’s Lost Masterpiece, which explores Chicago’s Garrick Theatre Building, which stood for only sixty-nine years, yet continues to resonate, far outlasting its’ physical presence.

Guests will have an opportunity to join a VIP tour of the exhibit with Co-curator and Chicago cultural historian emeritus Tim Samuelson.

5:30pm to 7:30pm – Museum Open to Attendees

6:00pm – VIP Tour of the Exhibit (optional)
