Beckett: A Show About Nothingness
Opens January 21st, for five Mondays at 7:00pm until the 25th of February. The play features a caricatured version of Samuel Beckett, as well as Eugene Ionesco, in a fictionalized portrayal of the process of writing and producing "Waiting for Godot". The play consists of four performers.
Roles still needed:
Eugene Ionesco- a cartoonish, buffoonish character, much more like Estragon than the real playwright. 30s-50s
Harry- a fictional theatrical agent, scheming, schmaltzy.
Vladimir and Estragon- Actors playing Vladimir and Estragon.
Audition Date: December 8th
Audition Time: 15 minute slots between 1 and 7 pm.

Pay: A percentage of the play's profits.
Type/Restrictions: Age, ethnicity, and gender are less important for this production than acting ability and comic timing. Any adult performer is welcome to audition, as long as they are willing to play old, white men.
Time Commitment: Must have some availability Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday-Sunday between now and January 21st. There will be flexibility.
Material To Prepare: Sides will provided at the audition, unless requested in advance.
