Announcing the Broadway In Chicago’s Backstage Champion Award
This year at the League of Chicago Theatre’s annual gala, we will be presenting the inaugural Broadway In Chicago’s Backstage Champion Award. This award recognizes an individual within the Chicago theatre industry who has made a positive impact on our community, and was designed to specifically call out those theatre workers that are not traditionally recognized. Through their work throughout the Chicago theatre scene, this awardee’s professional work, social impact or personal commitment has been invaluable to the field. We welcome you to help us shine a light on their contributions as we recognize their work within the Chicago community and honor them with a gift of $1,000.
Nominations Requirements:
- Must be a resident in Chicago for at least 3 years
- Must work in a theatrical field.
- Has not been widely recognized for their work in the past
